    The Three Nations Senior B Lacrosse League regular season has drawn to a close, and playoffs in the First Nations Junior B league have wound down as they approach Founder’s Cup. In Junior B action, the Bear’s Den Mohawk Medicine Men finished their best-of-three playoff series against the Tyendinaga Thunder, who won it in two games. The final of the two contests was July 15 at Desoronto Community Center, with the hosts Thunder winning 15-6.     The road to the Founders Cup hit a temporary speed bump for the Akwesasne Junior "B" Indians. Last Saturday, July 21, the Indians hosted the Clarington Green Gaels and squeaked out a 10-9 win. The Indians scored early - three straight to start the game - and late in the game withstood a Clarington rally to hold onto the win.     The Caughnawaga Indians had a real bad road trip last Thursday. They travelled to Cornwall Island for a tilt with the St. Regis Braves and left with a 29-4 loss. Having only nine runners to the Braves full complement didn’t help. Angus Laborgne led the Braves scoring with 13 points on nine goals and four assists.
