Continued from last week Maintenance: The Kayanerekowa provides that the people must meet at regular intervals to reaffirm their commitment to the law and to the peace that it seeks to establish. The same principle holds true for international relations. A chain that is held loosely in the hand or allowed to slip binds no one. A chain that is allowed to rust or become tarnished may break. By Nick Martin. As part of its recent precedent-breaking spree, the U.S. Supreme Court turned federal Indian law on its head this week on Wednesday, June 29. In the case of Oklahoma v. Castro-Huerta, a majority of five conservative justices sided with the state of Oklahoma, finding that state governments have the legal jurisdiction to prosecute non-Native citizens for crimes committed against Native citizens on sovereign tribal lands. The opinion, authored by Trump-appointed Justice Brett Kavanaugh, breaks with centuries of established federal...

The extremists have control of the US Supreme Court which defies logic and the will of the great majority of the American people when it eliminated the ability of women to control their bodies by undermining the option of abortion, then followed that decision by gutting the power of the federal government to regulate pollutants, then concluded by res...
