    Raquette Point Rd was shut down to traffic early Wednesday morning due to a fire that broke out at Big Boys Gas Bar. The fire started shortly before 8:30 in the morning and minutes later HAVFD responded to the call.     On Saturday July 13th, the Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe held special elections for Tribal Chief and Sub-Chief positions. According to results provided by the Tribe, Beverly Cook came up with the win for Tribal Chief, getting a mere 26 more votes than incumbent Randy Hart. For the June 1st elections, according to the SRMT tally sheet, Beverly Cook had only received 376 votes with Randy Hart getting 436.     The Akwesasne Midget Storm competed in the Cornwall Tournament this past weekend. Their first game was Friday night; they played the Milton Mavericks which ended in a tie 6-6. Their next game was in Charlan against Nepean which had to be rescheduled due to some floor issues. They played later Saturday night against Wila from Montreal with a big win of 12-2.
