Everybody was trying to get to the Akwesasne Mohawk Casino Resort but this bunch held up traffic. The area has been for years a gathering point for the Canada geese and some have made their home in front of the former Native American IGA. The last time the Akwesasne Indians met the Oakville Buzz was May 3 and the Indians won 11-8. Last weekend in game one of their playoff series the tables were turned and Akwesasne lost 12-8 at the Anowarako:wa arena. Oakville showed up to play and they struck early and hard with Troy O’Donell starting the scoring a minute and a half in. They added two more for the 3-0 lead.
