    The Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe’s Child Enforcement Unit is notifying tribal members who are custodial parents and currently have an order of support from any New York State Court that you are eligible to have your case transferred to the Tribe. Individuals can request a transfer for cases involving support for a child under the age of 21 that is payable through the New York State Child Support Processing Center.     The Saint Regis Mohawk Tribal Council along with the Tribal Clerk announces that the period for community comment has closed and the final Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe Probate Law has been revised to incorporate some of your suggested changes. The Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe Probate Law is now available for community viewing on the SRMT website or you can pick it up at the SRMT Community Building Lobby until July 28, 2017, at which time it will then be signed into legislation.     A large crowd of Akwesasne Junior "B" Indians fans made the trip last Sunday to watch their team win their fifth straight 2017 Ontario Lacrosse playoff game with a win over the Kahnawake Hunters. Final score 10-7 and a 2-0 series lead. Russ Oakes scored six in the win and added three assists to climb to the top of the Eastern Conference playoff standings.     The Mohawk Medicine Men claimed a win in their first playoff matchup against the Onondaga Red Hawks in a best-of-three series. After a tight first period where only one goal was scored, the Akwesasne squadron pulled ahead 7-3 by the end of the second period and nearly doubled the effort in the closing frame for a 13-6 win.     It had all the markings of a St. Regis Braves blowout but a late third period surge by the Tyendinaga Thunderbirds turned it into a close Three Nations Lacrosse League Senior game. Final score 16-13. On Wednesday, July 5 the Braves hosted the T-Birds at the Benson Center in Cornwall and jumped out to an early 2-0 lead two minutes into the game.
