The Akwesasne Storm Midget 1 Lacrosse team has qualified for an "A" ranking. The Ontario Lacrosse Association (OLA) released the list recently, and out of at least 60 teams, Akwesasne comes in at 15th. By Sesi King On Saturday and Sunday July 5th and 6th, a gathering for youth took place at the site of “Sit and Bull Fishing Camp”. It was a beautiful day with a perfect temperature along with flowing breezes and the company of approximately 30 people of various ages. It was to be two days of discussion, teaching and fun for all participants. Camping and canoeing as well as meals were provided. Ahkwesahsne was chosen to host the Youth and Elders Circle for 2014.
