Parents gathered at Generations Field on June 26 to witness the first in what will likely be a lifetime of graduation ceremonies for each child who completed the 1-year St. Regis Mohawk Early Childhood Development Program (Headstart). The moving up ceremony is held every year to celebrate the youngsters’ completion of the program and their move to regular school in the fall. - The Iroquois Nationals will be participating in the 2010 Men’s World Field Lacrosse Games in Manchester, England. The team departs on Sunday, July 11th from Onondaga Nation. They will take a bus from Onondaga to the John F. Kennedy airport in New York City. The games will start on July 15th and end on July 25th with the Championship Game on July 24th. Champs Eastside Boxing Club travelled to Alexandria Bay Saturday June 26th. Tevon Terrance, in his 9th amateur bout of his career, defeated Vincent Trepanier of Gatineau. Vincent is much more experienced but could not cope with Tevon’s speed and combination punching.
