The Mohawk Council of Akwesasne is reminding the public that the Snye Channel/Chenail Channel waterway is categorized as a NO WAKE zone for the entire length. Boats are not permitted to use the channel at high speeds. Children swim throughout the channel and will not be visible to a speeding boat.
