The St. Regis Recreation has sponsored and organized a prom for the past few years for 7th and 8th graders of Kana:takon School. While the recreation has hosted the prom in their building several times, this year the committee and recreation staff held the event right in the school gymnasium. Students at the Early Child Development Program (Headstart) in Hogansburg were treated to a day of outdoor fun Monday as the facility hosted a carnival for all the children. Games and activity stations were set up for the children to play at (manicure from a four-year-old anyone?) and a giant inflatable play structure was brought it., which the kids made a stampede for.
