The North Franklin Shamrocks White and Green teams played in the North Country Little League Bangor Tournament Championship-12U Ray Russell Division recently and the Shamrock White team came out the champ. On the way to the final NF White played Cardinal Insurance and blanked them 7-0. The Akwesasne Attack lacrosse club brought their game to the Massena High School last weekend. A Playday was held and local clubs performed very well, winning and losing, but representing well our field lacrosse community. The Massena varsity girl’s lacrosse team came to an end in regional finals on Saturday, June 3 in Ogdensburg. They played Section 4 champions Vestal and lost by a final tally of 15-2.
