According to the current election law of MCA, eligible voters are only those members who reside in one of the 3 districts. I find this appalling as anyone who is a citizen of Canada or the US is allowed to vote in provincial and federal elections, no matter where you reside. Members of MCA have moved to areas such as Cornwall due to the housing shortage on reserve, the proximity to health services and public transportation. Some have moved for personal reasons.
