    The Salmon River District community approved the $29,076,511 budget passed on Tuesday with a margin of 44 votes. A total of 674 voters showed up at the polls Tuesday, and 359 voted yes to the budget as well as the purchase of two 66-passenger buses not to exceed $210,000. Newcomers Roger Lapage and Peter Ghostlaw, both of Fort Covington, were elected to serve five-year terms on the Board of Education.
