    Kanietakeron|May 29, 2008

as told by Kanietakeron This is a Mohawk story that was told to children.  A long, long time ago there was a village on the bend of a river.  On one sunny day, a hunter was out in the forest looking for game.  While walking along a trail, he stumbled on a hole.  He stood back, scratched his head, and thought to himself, “This wasn’t here yesterday.”  He went uphill to get a better look at the hole.  His hair stood up.  He rubbed his eyes and looked again.  That hole was not just any hole, it...

  • Stuck to you

    An Anonymous Mother|May 29, 2008

I know I always talk about what a big boy Baby T has become. I think about how he isn’t that little baby of mine anymore a lot. And this weekend I actually bought a pair of shorts in the “big kid” section of Wal-Mart. Not the baby section that we all browse through even when we no longer have an infant. But it’s like a routine you grab what you need, then wander around aimlessly oohing and awing over teeny outfits. When I got home I wanted to cry thinking about how unless I had another baby I wasn’t going to be shopping in that section a...

That stint lasted until the track was forced to shut down due to an u...

After a while though, Alice begins to realize that maybe this is stupid, maybe she shoul...
