    The Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe held a public meeting on Thursday, May 19 to discuss the ongoing battle with New York State over the collection of tax from sales made to non-members on cigarette purchases. Hundreds of people packed the Brass Horse Banquet Hall for the event celebrating Shamrock athletics. Donald was born on March 9, 1932 in Kirkland Lake, Ontario, the son of Abraham and Margaret Bernard Jacobs. He worked as a construction worker for various companies until he became disabled.
