    The Salmon River Athlete Hall of Fame will induct their 2015 – 2016 new members on May 21, 2016 at the Brass Horse, Akwesasne, at 3pm. This year, the SRAHOF are combining their 9th and 10th annual award ceremony in one evening. Two teams and six individuals will be honored. The 1990 Rifle Team will be inducted into the 2015 Hall of Fame and three individuals will be honored as well. They include; Errol McElwain, Jessica Jock and Nate Sunday.     Shamrock Laxmen net win over Potsdam The Salmon River boys' varsity lacrosse team hosted Potsdam on Monday, May 9, and continued its winning ways. The Shamrocks worked their way to a 7-1 halftime lead before going on to win 15-2. Konnor Sunday (4 assists) and Tanner Tarbell sparked the Shamrock offense with three goals apiece.     The Akwesasne Jr. B Indians are at the top of their division with seven wins and only two losses. On Wednesday, May 4, 2016 they defeated the Nepean Knights 15-10. A bad weekend handed them their first loss of the season on Saturday, May 7 to the Orillia Kings by two, and on Sunday they suffered another loss to the Green Gaels by three. But, since then they have won three, slaughtering the Nepean Knights 15-2 on May 11, the Mississauga Tomahawks 11-3 on May 14, and the Brampton Excelsiors 20-7...
