The Salmon River Shamrocks varsity boys lacrosse squadron played their final home game of the season during a week where four other Massena and Salmon lax contests were won by just a single goal. The Shamrocks on Friday, May 10 took control of the game within minutes and went on to claim a 19-8 win over Saranac Lake-Lake Placid at home, their graduating seniors' final home bout. By Andy Gardner The Salmon River Lady Shamrocks won their first game of the year on the softball diamond against Franklin Academy on Tuesday, May 7. The 6-0 win was the first game of a doubleheader. They broke a stalemate with two runs in the third inning, then sent home two more runners in the fourth inning and two more in the sixth.
