After the final siren sounded last Thursday, the Shamrocks saw their undefeated record rise 12-0 when they defeated Massena, 19-6 at home. The Shamrocks went racing out to an 11-2 lead in the first quarter and went into half time with a 15-5 lead. On Saturday, a meeting at the St. Regis Rec. put final touches on a great summer of softball. The Akwesasne Softball League has 9 teams confirmed and will most likely have 10. The third annual Kids for Fishing got underway on Saturday despite the fact that the weather didn’t want to cooperate. The morning started with several important presentations. Tony David and Mary LaFrance from the SRMT Environment Division talked about wetlands, water quality and fisheries.
