Paul "Toteks" Thomas, master fan maker and well-known traditional singer shared his talent and skills with several students to make traditional fans. Jade Anne Gabri will be walking with her graduating 2015 class this Saturday May 16th at Green Mountain College in Vermont. She has earned a Master of Science Degree in Sustainable Food Systems as a result of all her hard work studying, reading and writing. The Annual event was held this past week at the St. Regis Mohawk Seniors Center in Hogansburg. The Elders enjoyed the old favorites like Bingo but also they held a Bean Bag Toss, Solo Cup stacking contest, Poker Walk, Karaoke, Horseshoes, Chair Exercises and more. Some of the former Lacrosse players in the group had another time to shine as a Lacrosse shot event was planned. On Thursday, May 7, 2015 the first grade wing at the St. Regis Mohawk School was transformed into an oasis for mothers. Mothers were invited to the school for a Mother's Day Spa. Students gave them back, shoulder and hand massages. Mothers also got a full manicure, getting their nails filed and painted. Then everyone relaxed with a snack, and Mothers also received some wonderful gifts from their children....

Speedway Plaza held their 20th Anniversary by hosting a Customer Appreciation Day on May 9, 2015. Speedway Plaza includes Subway, Atomic Pizza, Verizon, DIRECTV, the Convenience Store, Speedy Lube, U-Hall, Smokie's Tobacco, Speedy Tire, and Celebration Liquor.
