The old Fish’s IGA in Fort Covington is loaded with rats! The owners have allegedly moved out of state, and left all of the non-perishables on the shelves. Rats are a nocturnal creature, yet there have been sightings of several rats, some who seem unafraid of humans, during the day. This may be a clue as to the enormity of the problem inside the building. There are a few abandoned houses surrounding Fish’s, which the rats may find homes in if the building is to be cleaned up without tra...

MYTH: Head lice are a sign of being “dirty” or neglectful parenting. FACT: Head lice often prefer clean hair, and anyone can get it no matter what your hygiene level, income, social status, or age is. It may have nothing to do with bad parenting, and everything to do with being in contact with someone who had head lice. There is no need to feel embarrassed, or ashamed of having head lice; anyone can get them by simply being in contact with someone else who had it, end of story. MYTH: Head lic...

It is provided thus: If the Three Elder Brothers (Mohawk, Onondaga, and Seneca) shall lose one of their chiefs by death, the Younger Brothers {Cayuga, Tuscarora, and Oneida) shall come to the surviving chiefs of the Three B...
