CKON radio is starting a story-telling program to air at approximately 3:30 to 3:45 on Tuesdays and Thursdays during the summer months. Varying ages of storytellers are required and each reader must be a current student between the ages of 10-18. The stories will be read in English and some stories in the Mohawk language. Boy's Lacrosse Massena boy's varsity lacrosse had their early undefeated streak broken by Salmon River. The team now stands at a 4-1 overall record for the season. In the April 21 match-up, Massena fell behind Salmon 7-3 at the half and never recovered for a 13-7 final score. The 2016 Akwesasne Storm minor lacrosse season kicked off last Sunday with a full slate of games against the Nepean Knights lacrosse program. In the first game of the day the Tykes teams battled to an 8-8 tie. Drayson Skidders netted four for the Storm while teammates Talys Tasse-Benedict picked up a hat trick and Traven Seymour rounded off the scoring.
