Two teams from Akwesasne travelled to Waterloo, Ontario to compete in the OVA Provincials. The three-day tournament began on Friday April 21st and ended Sunday April 23rd, with the final playoffs. The Akwesasne Soaring Eagles 12U and 18U girls' team participated and played their hearts out. They showed great pride and skill throughout the three-day tournament. Cayde plays elite soccer year round and was chosen as one of the top athletes in his academy to play in the tournament. The Travelling College held an opening for their photography exhibit on Thursday April 20, 2017. This is the first exhibit of its kind to be held at the North Native American Travelling College. There was such a great turnout and interest for it, they are planning another exhibit of its kind in the future.
