    Initiates from this year’s Rites of Passage ventured to our sister Mohawk community of Tyendinaga for a community exchange this past weekend. The group of 35 was well treated with fine food and good company. On Saturday evening, despite the rain, the youth went spear fishing until midnight and were taught how to fillet their catch the next day.     On Thursday, April 9th, Tsi Snaihne School held a Science Day in the gymnasium. Grade 7 & 8 students from Kana:takon School came to our school to lead students through some fun experiments.     This simple recipe is a nice alternative to fried walleye at shore lunch sites. It tastes almost like lobster! You’ll really be surprised! Serves 6 12 - 18 Walleye fillets 1/2 # Salted Butter 3 Fresh Lemons 1 Tablespoon Dill Old Bay Seasoning Fillet and skin walleyes, rinse and pat dry. Slice one lemon thinly and set aside.     Summer games for seniors in Stormont, Dundas, Glengarry, Prescott-Russell and Akwesasne get under way April 22 and continue until June 8, in 16 different events. The games are open to seniors 55 and over. A $10 entry fee allows competitors to enter as many events as they like. Over 200 seniors are expected to take part in this year’s games, which are billed as “Friendly” because winners do not qualify for provincial competitions.
