    Please note that the date for presentation of the amended Akwesasne Election Law (AEL) to Mohawk Council of Akwesasne Chiefs has been changed from the original notice’s date of March 31, 2017 to April 28, 2017. Community Consultation in all three districts will follow shortly thereafter. The Akwesasne Election Law Working Task Group previously sent out a survey requesting feedback on proposed amendments to the AEL.     Massena's varsity boys lacrosse team's week had them coming back strong after a loss to Salmon River, ending a three-game losing streak. Meanwhile, the girl's squad motored past Ogdensburg. The softball team had their opening day lead washed away in a rainstorm, but returned to the diamond to claim their next match.
