    The Wolf Pack Gift Shop Women’s volleyball team are champions once again. They had managed runner-up prizes for the last two years after dominating in previous years with championship finishes. Although the team won 19 matches out of 20, the games were hard fought. The teams in the league have steadily improved, forcing the Wolf Pack to respond with a sharpened competitive edge.     The hockey team of 2000-01 was nominated by Norman Treptow and had proved to be one of the highest ranking Salmon River Teams in the Nation (4th). This team is very deserving of this recognition and to be honored at the third SRC Athletic Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony for 2009.     Two more inductees for this week in Indian Time are the 2000-01 SR Hockey Team and Bill Plante as coach of that team and other championship teams. Bill was nominated by Helena K. Plante, his mother from New Hartford, NY. This year marks the 30th year that Bill has been teaching at SRCS as a physical educator. During his years at SRC, he had coached hockey, JV & Varsity baseball, modified lacrosse, and varsity volleyball.
