    The A’nowara’kowa Arena floor felt the beat of tiny feet Wednesday morning as the Ahkwesahsne Mohawk Board of Education’s Early Years students participated in powwow too big for any school gymnasium. Headstart, Pre-k and kindergarten students from AMBE’s three districts were transported to the arena for the powwow event that brought dancers to their feet.     The Akwesasne Torchbearer Selection Committee announced that it has launched a process for selecting a torchbearer for the Akwesasne leg of the 2010 Olympic Torch Relay.     Marjorie Skidders and her family have made history recently as they have officially started this area’s first vineyard and winery. Laughing Crow Winery is a completely family-run business that has grown from a small idea into a large production that requires a lot of hard work. His mom and grandmother created a beautiful quilt depicting a puzzle pattern that represents putting the pieces together for autistic children.
