    (Onerahto:kha/April 5, 2018) The Ontario government has announced that it has awarded funding to Enbridge Gas Distribution to potentially bring low cost natural gas to Kawehno:ke (Cornwall Island). Funding of $3,447,000 was granted by Ontario from the province's Natural Gas Grant Program.     The Department of Homeland Security is poised to begin monitoring journalists and media influencers through a comprehensive database, according to stories that made national news over the weekend of April 6.     Military on both sides of the border are conducting drills. In the United States, the 10th Mountain Division of Fort Drum is conducting night aviation maneuvers in St. Lawrence, Essex, Hamilton, Franklin and Clinton counties, according to New York State Police. These nighttime activities started on Monday, April 9 and will continue until Monday April 16.     On April 4th, the Seven Dancers Coalition hosted a book signing and discussion with the author known as Eahwahewì. The first of two events took place at the Akwesasne Library, the second taking place at the Seven Dancers Coalition Building. The author, Eahwahewì travelled from her hometown to come to Akwesasne to discuss the non-fictional personal essay, which turned into a book.
