Cooking Time: 35 min.   Ingredients: 2-1/3 cups buttermilk baking mix 1/2 cup milk 3 Tbs. unsalted butter, melted 1/2 cup sugar 1 Lbs. canned sliced peaches, drained 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon 2/3 cup sour cream 1 egg Cooking Directions: Preheat oven to 375° F.   • Three local boys to play in Aboriginal Hockey Championships

    On March 26-27-28th hockey tryouts were held for boys born from 1991-1995 in Kahnawake for the 2009 national Aboriginal Hockey Championships to be held in Winnipeg, Manitoba from May 3-May 9th. The tryouts began with 108 boys registering for the tryouts and 86 actually making it to Kahnawake. Akwesasne was represented with several young men, but three of the young men managed to persevere throughout the three days with a display of skill, handwork, and determination.     Bowlmor Lanes in Massena is nearing the completion of the youth bowling league this year. The program is sanctioned by USBC and is run by Nicole Gladding.
