The Cinderella team ended the journey in the league finals vs. Smiths Falls. The team had to play that round without defenceman Conor Périard who suffered an injury in the previous round. Salmon River Girls Varsity Hockey team held their banquet last week at Brass Horse Banquet Hall. In the evening presentation Coach Jim Barnes and Assistant Coach Elizabeth Durfee handed out numerous plaques and awards to their sponsors and players of the 2010-2011 season. On Friday March 25 the Akwesasne Peewee Jr. Wolves Hockey Team traveled to Lake Placid NY to participate in the Can/Am Tournament. On Friday we played against Pennsylvania Glaciers beating them on a score of 6-1. Later on that afternoon we went on to play the New Jersey Wolfpack tying them with a score of 3-3.
