They went to go see our local girl Erin Francis #45 and the rest of her team play against Northwestern. Two young ladies, Wakiatiiosta King and Kahnirenkwirehtha Thompson are on the Cornwall Typhoons Black team. They helped to capture the first place championship honors during the past weekend in the Kanata Tournament. They returned home with very nice "gold" medals. Submitted by Dana Henhawk Ten girls ages 7-10 traveled to Mississauga, ON from March 9, 2014 to March 13, 2014 to participate in the Little Native Hockey League Tournament. 2014 is the first year Akwesasne was represented by an all-girls team. This team only consisted of 9 skaters and 1 goalie, but you never would've known it by the way they played.
