    A new spring sport will be offered to girls at Massena Central High School as Girls Varsity Lacrosse is being added to the school’s roster of sports. Players have already taken to the field in a round robin scrimmage at Potsdam College Maxcy Athletic Field. On Saturday March 22, with 20 degree temperature, the young ladies had their first experience as a Massena lacrosse team, playing against neighboring high school teams.   • Girls Novice hockey update

    The Akwesasne Girls Novice hockey team ended the regular season with a three game win streak.  They defeated the Malone mites on March 3rd by a score of 4-0.  The team showed excellent team work in the win, as they previously lost to Malone the week before on a score of 2-1.  Akwesasne then defeated Cornwall Novice Red 4-0 and Cornwall Atom Red 3-0.  The team ended the season with a 15-6 record and one tournament title.  The team now looks to end the season at the Kanata tournament April 4, 5 and 6.  Good luck to all of the players and tha...
