    Massena has been denied a chance to continue in state playoffs now that the New York Public High School Athletic Association has canceled all winter championships. The Raiders had been waiting to hear if “indefinite postponement” of the remainder of post-season could ultimately reverse in their favor.     This morning, the Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe and the Mohawk Council of Akwesasne were notified of the first confirmed case of COVID-19 (Novel Coronavirus) in the community of Akwesasne. The Franklin County Public Health Department notified the Tribe’s Emergency Operations Center that the case involves a community member, who is in quarantine at home and receiving follow-up care.
