Today, dangerous chemicals are commonly found in our homes, our offices, and in our children’s classrooms. Hundreds of poisonous chemicals are released into the air we breath by, furniture, building materials, carpets, household cleaners, cosmetics, perfumes, air fresheners, etc. These chemicals are trapped inside, especially in closed ventilation systems. These chemicals result in a broad range of respiratory and allergic reactions. Some are even believed to cause cancer. Our children are the ones at most risk. It has become a time when every...

This book is about believing, but not in the usual way. In this book, believing is seeing. It shows how a belief can be something comforting and protecting, how it can make you feel closer to someone who has gone, or help you deal with someone taken from you. This book is a three part trilogy that spans over a love story with a stunning ending. Tristan has had his eye on Ivy Lyons since she came to his school that cool January day. As much as he wanted her to she didn’t know he was alive. Ivy had in fact noticed Tristan but couldn’t make her...
As I fall into a routine with two children I find myself feeling guiltier than ever. For a long time I was easily manipulated and run by Big Brother. All he had to do was make me feel the slightest twinge of guilt and I’d comply with his way. I’m a huge pushover and have only really become a rule follower in the last year or year and a half when not being in charge started to be a problem. I was receiving comments from people about his bossiness and my lack of. I always just enjoyed my son’s free spirit. He is extremely shy around other peopl...
The Akwesasne Senior Center will be the host of a Wii bowling tournament and I signed up for it when I saw how much fun everybody was having when I looked in. With the Wii game it was a lot of movement but without the heaviness of the bowling ball. It will be three Thursdays and Amanda Adams will have it all set up. I was at the Senior Center to attend a meeting with Tina Tarbell about the Senior Games in May. This is the tenth year and as always we listen to the comments of the participants and change a little each year. This year...
