A 38-year-old man was arrested last week for charges relating to his alleged sexual contact with an 8-year-old on more than one occasion between 2004 and 2006. Eight students from Akwesasne traveled to Albuquerque, New Mexico last week where they competed with hundreds of other Native American students at the American Indian Science and Engineering Society’s annual science fair. Akwesasne - An anonymous donor has provided the St. Regis Mohawk Tribe’s Office of Historical Preservation with a series of artifacts. The donor found them in the North Country region and thought it would be appropriate for the tribe to own them. David Sharrow, of Snye, Quebec, passed away on Tuesday, March 15, 2010, in the Cornwall Community Hospital, Cornwall, Ontario. He was a member of the Wolf Clan, born in Hogansburg, NY on November 30, 1919, the son of the late Richard and Margaret [Sam] Sharrow. Mr. Sharrow moved to Niagara Falls in 1940.
