WARRANT, FAIL TO COMPLY Cornwall, ON – A 36-year-old Akwesasne woman was arrested on Feb. 28, 2024, on the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged on Sept. 29, 2023, the woman was bound by a release order with the relevant condition to not contact or communicate with her ex-boyfriend. It is alleged on this date; the woman contacted the man. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. A warrant was issued for her arrest. KAHNAWAKE – On the evening of March 1, 2024, at 21:19, the Kahnawake Peacekeepers executed a search warrant at a residence on Cherry Crescent in the New Development. During the operation, Peacekeepers seized 222 pills, 11 baggies containing 5.5 grams of white powder, and a baggie containing a 1g rock.
