    Last Thursday at the Kanatakon School Leona Lafrance's 5/6 grade transition class put on a play. They performed an adaptation of the 1940's story "Caps for Sale" by Esphyr Slobodkina. Kaweienon:ni Margaret Peters translated the work into Mohawk and the title became "Ratenonhwarotsheratkerons." Earlier on Monday, Ross Lafrance came to the school and taught the students some theatre lessons to help them perform the play like professionals. The students did a great job!...
