By Andy Gardner The Salmon River Shamrocks won a chance to compete for the Section 10 Division II title after an overtime battle with the Ogdensburg Free Academy Blue Devils on Thursday, Feb. 21. Salmon River was to have played for the crown against the Norwood-Norfolk Icemen on Monday, Feb. 25 at Cheel Arena in Potsdam, after press deadline for this edition. Cornwall Prowlers Advance to LHSAO Semifinals

(February 26, 2019) The Cornwall Senior “A” Prowlers have advanced to the semifinals of the LHSAO with a sweep over the weekend of the Pontiac Comets. Prowlers won 7-6 on the road Friday and won 9-3 at the Benson Centre Saturday night to take the best 2 out of 3 series. The Prowlers now take on the regular season champs the Mont Laurier Montagnards. Abby Kelly is NESCAC Women's Basketball Player of the Year

(February 27, 2019) HADLEY, Mass. – Bowdoin senior Abby Kelly has been selected as the NESCAC Women's Basketball Player of the Year as voted by the league's coaches. She is the second straight Polar Bear to earn the honor as former teammate Kate Kerrigan was recognized in 2018. Kelly's accolade also marks the sixth time a Bowdoin player has been honored overall, joining Lora Trenkle (2002 & 2004), Eileen Flaherty (2007), Shanon Brady (2016) and Kerrigan.
