    We have to deal with harsh winters and training for that takes a lot of stamina and fortitude. We plan for the worst and that means we’ll be out training in the worst weather possible. It is funny to hear some of the members whining about “how cold” it’s going to be at the “winter water supply training”. We don’t get to choose when or where we’re going to put out a fire so the best plan is to train for the worst case scenario.     I am happy to write that Baby T has gone back to school. And after those few weeks home with Mommy he really turned into a little koala bear, stuck to my leg, hip, or tailing close behind. If I stopped mid-kitchen he would literally bump into me. So when I was cooking I had to be super cautious just in case he was right there. Of course I may baby him a little too much when he’s sick and end up totally paying for it later but that is us.     For lacrosse lovers, a mid-winter tournament was just what they needed: A men’s indoor lacrosse tournament was organized this past weekend. The two-day event was held at the Kana:takon School. Teams paid entry fees, which made up the tournament’s prize money, though most participants were playing for fun.     Canton—The entire Massena varsity wrestling team made it to the finals in the Division 1 Sectionals this past weekend at Canton High School. Seven of the finalists won and will now head to Rochester NY for the NY State championships March 8-9th at the Blue Cross Arena. The Red Raiders finished with 205 points in Division 1. Canton had 252 and Malone was third with 108.     The Division 1 and 2 teams in hockey’s Section 10 are almost finished with the season and both teams, Massena and SR, are ready for Cheel to determine the Champs.
