    Massena Central High School is pleased to publish the High Honor Roll and Honor Roll for the 2nd marking period of the 2010-2011 school year. The following criteria qualify students for inclusion on the Honor Rolls: High Honor - 92-100% average - students will have at least 85% in all subjects and maintain a 92% average. Honor - 85-91% average - students will have at least 80% in all subjects and maintain an 85% average.     The Massena Raider Boys played host to the Canton Bears in a Central Division Basketball contest last Tuesday night. The Raiders enjoyed “retro” night by defeating the Bears 68-31. The Raiders came out with their short shorts, terry cloth headbands and knee high tube socks only to find themselves behind 9-8 at the end of the first quarter.     On Thursday the Potsdam Lady Sandstoners were in town for a Central Division basketball contest. At half time the scoreboard read 22-15 in favor of the Lady Raiders and they held on to win 48-33. Before the game the Massena seniors were honored for their hard work and dedication while in the program.     Kolten Oakes- Cook, who plays for Seaway Valley Atom AA Rapids, recently traveled to Lake Placid with his team to participate in the American Cup Tournament on January 28-30th. The Rapids had a slow start as they opened the tournament against Boston Little Rangers with a 2-1 loss. Seaway goal scored by Joseph Samson, assisted by Tyler Eldridge.
