On Thursday, Mike Thompson was honored with a dinner at Sticks Restaurant. Accompanying Thompson was the Mann Cup, which people in attendance were allowed to see. The cup, which predates the Stanley Cup, harks back to 1910 and is said to be made of solid gold. On Saturday, February 2, the Franklin County Music Educators Association held their annual All-County Music Festival, which was hosted by Salmon River Central School. Winners of the Empire BlueCross Get Active, Get Fit School Challenge have been announced. An effort between Empire and Radio Disney AM 1460, Get Active, Get Fit motivates kids and families to achieve fitness together by engaging in fun activities.
