    On Thursday, Mike Thompson was honored with a dinner at Sticks Restaurant. Accompanying Thompson was the Mann Cup, which people in attendance were allowed to see. The cup, which predates the Stanley Cup, harks back to 1910 and is said to be made of solid gold. Thompson signed his jersey, which will be displayed in Sticks, as well as a painting that was given to him for his achievements by the Burns family.     On Saturday, February 2, the Franklin County Music Educators Association held their annual All-County Music Festival, which was hosted by Salmon River Central School. The festival, which is comprised of schools from all over the county, included the Salmon River Central and St. Regis Mohawk Schools. SRMS contributed 5 girls, with 4 performing. An effort between Empire and Radio Disney AM 1460, Get Active, Get Fit motivates kids and families to achieve fitness together by engaging in fun activities.
