    AKWESASNE. In our continued efforts to provide the best service possible, the Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe (SRMT) Solid Waste Management Program has found it necessary to increase Solid Waste Fees. Effective March 1, 2022, the increase reflects higher operating expenses over the past several years. Tipping fees will be $165/ton, a total increase of $15/ton or $5/ton for each of the past three years, as the previous rate of $150 had been in place since 2019.
