    Akwesasne— Akwesasne Warriors announced today the signing of Power forward Travis Stacey to a contract. As per Club policy, financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed. Stacey was selected in the first round, 7th overall, by the Gatineau Olympics at the 2006 QMJHL Draft. Stacey made his mark in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League in three seasons with the Gatineau Olympics. Stacey had seven goals and nine points in 99 games, along with 275 penalty minutes.     Submitted by Patrick Dussault Manager- Cornwall Colts Minor Midget “B” In the first game, the Colts disposed of the North Dundas Demons by a score of 6-1. Grayson Phillips had 2 goals and an assist while Naylen Laffin had one goal and two helpers. Josh Landry, Nick Scott and Brantley Adams completed the scoring.     The Massena Lady Raiders Basketball team hosted Gouverneur Wildcats last Tuesday night. Playing on their home court, the Lady Raiders built a 27-13 half time lead and finished off the game outscoring the Wildcats 13-3 in the final quarter of play for a 49-23 victory. Emily Sullivan from Massena led all scorers with 17 points and three steals. Christina Schriver added 12 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists.     The Massena Central Girl’s hockey team, led by Shaydi Oakes’ game winning goal, defeated unbeaten Canton Lady Bears last Wednesday night at the Massena Arena. The lady Raiders were able to get off to a quick start by scoring just 49 seconds into the game when Laura Gonzalez finished off a play set up by Lindsey Rusello and Brittany Beckstead.
