    The Mohawk Council of Akwesasne’s Department of Health is notifying community members that a new parking lot is being constructed at the Kanonkwatsheri:io Health Facility in Kanatakon. Construction has begun and will continue to the end of January. The project will expand the existing parking lot located directly in front of Kanonkwatsheri:io’s main entrance.     Last Thursday the Potsdam Lady Sandstoners were in town for a Central Division basketball contest. The two teams played a seesaw first quarter until a rebound by Alisha Jacobs put the Lady Raiders ahead 17-15 at the end of the quarter.
