On Thursday, December 4, the Polar Express pulled into the station at the St. Regis Mohawk School under the direction of the Akwesasne Coalition for Community Empowerment. On Wednesday, November 26, Koi Express Japanese Hibachi held its grand opening in the food court of the St. Lawrence Centre in Massena. The Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe held a Drug Paraphernalia Forum on Thursday, November 13, 2014 at the Office for the Aging. The forum addressed concerns about the sale of drug paraphernalia in the community, but its main focus was on education, the roots of addiction and local resources regarding where and how to seek help. On Saturday, November 8, the Akwesasne Basket Drive hosted a Turkey Trot, a 5K walk/run/stroll, at Generations Park. The trot raised money through registrations or participant pledges, and all the proceeds went to the Akwesasne Basket Drive.
