The 15th Annual Akwesasne International Powwow took place over the weekend of September 12th and 13th at the A'nowara'ko:wa Arena on Kawehnoke. The Powwow events had to be moved inside the arena due to the rainy weather outside. The 2015 Ironworkers Festival held its 13th annual event at the Akwesasne Mohawk Casino and Resort on Saturday, July 25. It attracted Ironworkers, ages 18 -84 years old, from the United States and Canada, who came together to share memories and celebrate the proud trade of Ironworking with friendly competition.
