    The Pre-K Classes from Salmon River Elementary School participated in Plant the Promise sponsored by the St. Regis Mohawk Tribe’s Alcoholism//Chemical Dependency Prevention Program as part of Red Ribbon Week. The students planted tulip bulbs in October as a promise to lead healthy drug free lives. Red Ribbon Week is a national Drug Prevention Week celebrated in memory of Enrique “Kiki” Camerena who was tortured and killed by drug traffickers.
