    On August 3-5, our Akwesasne Storm Peewee team participated in the Ontario Lacrosse Festival in Whitby, Ontario. Game 1 started on Friday the 3rd vs. Centre Wellington. The Storm beat Wellington 9-6. Scoring was Kainen Thompson: 3g-1asst, Kobe Cook: 2g-1asst, Colin Adey, Rowisonkies Barnes, Abram Garrow, Jay Chubb with singles, and assists to Treven David (2), Payne Benedict and Keldren King.   • Akwesasne players in Maryland Tourney

    This past weekend 6 boys from Akwesasne participated in the Brine Indian Summer Field Lacrosse U 11 Tournament with Six Nations. Players are Jay Chubb, Memphis Mitchell, Gage King, Treven David, Isaiah Skidders and Kainen Francis-Thompson. The Tournament was held on Oct 23 in Jarretsville, Maryland. The Team went 3-0 beating Delaware 8-4, Maryland 6-4 and Appalachian Mountains 8-5. The Tournament was a qualifier for the Dicks Sporting Goods Tournament being held Dec 30-Jan 1st in Florida.     This weekend the Akwesasne Storm Lax Teams participated in the Cornwall Celtics Lacrosse Tournament. From Paper Weight thru Bantam, all teams did an excellent job this weekend. Peewee Storm started their tournament of Friday playing against Kahnawake beating them 5-3.   • Akwesasne Peewee Jr. Wolves Hockey Team gold medal champs in Can/Am Tournament

    On Friday March 25 the Akwesasne Peewee Jr. Wolves Hockey Team traveled to Lake Placid NY to participate in the Can/Am Tournament. On Friday we played against Pennsylvania Glaciers beating them on a score of 6-1. Later on that afternoon we went on to play the New Jersey Wolfpack tying them with a score of 3-3.
