The grade 7 & 8 Kana:takon School students participated in a soccer tournament in Cornwall on October 8, 2009, competing against 4 other area schools. The girls team won 1 out of 4 games but played tremendously well. All girls put forth 150% effort for each game, and displayed good sportsmanship. They worked well as a team despite some fierce competition, as our competitors appeared to have a number of experienced and talented players.
