One day after losing for the first time at the Turtle this year, 8-6 to Burlington, the Akwesasne Indians showcased their double-D’s in getting a 7-0 win over Brampton the very next day. After getting an F in the first period, and a C in the second period they pulled together their best 20 minutes of the season for an A in the third period. The Indians followed a brutal 7 -1 loss to the Athletics Saturday night with a gutsy 12-10 win in Brampton against the Excelsiors on Sunday afternoon. Lacrosse fans got a treat last Friday. After struggling to score most of the game, the Akwesasne Indians scored 3 times, (4 depending on who you ask) to get a point out of the Peterborough Lakers.
