The Salmon River Girls Varsity Basketball team captured the Northern League Championship with an undefeated record of 8-0. The Shamrocks drew a first round bye in the Section X playoffs because they were the #1 Seed. The 4th Annual Richard McLean Basketball Tournament was held at Salmon River Central School on Friday April 1 through Sunday April 3, 2011. The North Franklin 5th & 6th grade girls basketball team finished a spectacular season on Saturday, March 15, winning their own tournament by defeating Malone in an exciting 36-31 championship game. This final win secured a perfect 20-0 season for the girls.
