After losing the first two games of the series the Indians won three straight over the weekend. On Friday they beat the Ironheads easily 15-5, on Saturday with a score of 17-8, and on Sunday, July 14th, they won the series with a close 8-6 victory at the A'nowara'ko:wa Arena. The...

The Canadian Premier Junior Hockey League is well under way. Akwesasne players Nonkon Thomas and Tommy Thomas of the Glengarry Highlanders Jr. A hockey took on the Ottawa Ole Town Rebels Saturday night in the team's hometown arena in Maxville. Ole Town came away with the win with a score of 5 to 2 over the Highlanders. Nonkon Thomas had a goal in the third period. The Akwesasne Attack went to Rochester this weekend to play in the fifth annual Flour City Face Off Tournament. The Akwesasne Attack U16 team came home undefeated in play. They are coached by Shane Francis and Trey Adams. The team played against teams from Western NY and the Rochester area, as well in the Championship game against the team known as D20, who were from the Oshawa area. A handful of teams came out for the 3rd annual Akwesasne Fall Brawl on October 18th and 19th. The 2014 Fall Brawl was hosted by Thompson Lacrosse, and for the first time it was hosted at Massena High school grounds. Akwesasne's Homegrown team won the tournament with a 5-0 record....
On Saturday July 28th, the Jr. B Indians avenged their loss from Friday night, beating out the Clarington Green Gaels by a score of 13 to 6 in the fourth game of the series. On Sunday November 9th, 2008, the Onondaga Redhawks, with players from Akwesasne, teamed up to enter the 2008 New York State Turkey Shoot Varsity Division three competition at the Total Sports Experience Field House Complex in Rochester, NY. Players from Akwesasne were Ty Thompson, Corey Thompson, Tevin Terrance, Seth Oakes, Hank Delisle and Shane Francis.
